Advent Giving Opportunities

One of our favorite Advent traditions is finding ways of supporting our local Bellingham community. This year, we’d love to invite you and your family to join us! We’re offering two options:

Option one, Busy Bags for Immigrant Families
In partnership with Renew Northwest

This year our children and youth are taking a new approach to our Christmas bags for families. Rather than filling large bags with assorted gifts, we’re focusing on small, purposeful items designed to keep little hands engaged during their parents’ appointments. These activity packs are simple, portable, and easy for children to use on the go. The goal is not to overwhelm them with things, but to provide meaningful items that help pass the time in a calm and constructive way.  Choose an age range from the list below that you’d like to buys items for, grab a bag for the items, and bring it back by Christmas Eve.  Click here for more info.

Option two, Holiday Joy Toy Drive

  • How to participate: Choose an ornament tag. Buy gifts or gift cards and bring them back to the church unwrapped by Sunday, December 7. Please note the value of gift cards on tag or card.

  • How to volunteer: To help at Interfaith’s toy “store,” sign up, contact Pastor Adria at adria@bellinghamcov.org.
