Capital Campaign
The Vision:
Over the past few years, our faith community has been growing! We are grateful that God is continuing to use our church to create a place where people can discover healing, growth, and purpose. Since 2022, our Sunday attendance has grown by over 100 people! We believe that God is inviting us to continue to make room for those God is drawing into our community
The Challenge:
Our community’s recent growth has created a very practical need for more space in our sanctuary. The current capacity in our sanctuary is 285 people. Over the past 5 months, our average attendance has been 275 people, and we have had 12 Sundays above our capacity limit. While we continue to have new visitors on a weekly basis, the limited capacity of our sanctuary prevents them from feeling welcome.
The Solution:
Our sanctuary was designed to expand to the right and the left, where our current adult classrooms are situated. After a season of intentional discernment, we as a congregation voted to approve adding 14 rows of seating (7 rows on each side). This will allow for an additional 85 permanent seats, while preserving two mid-sized classrooms.
The Investment:
The budget for the sanctuary expansion is $300,000. We are committing $75,000 from the COVID relief funds we have recently received from the IRS. This leaves us with a fundraising goal of $225,000 dollars. If excess funds are raised, we will put them towards future capital improvement needs at BCC.
We need your help to make room for those who are seeking a faith community where they can belong, grow, and serve. Here is a breakdown of the different levels of giving that we are asking people to commit to to help us reach our goal. These are not hard and fast amounts. We are inviting people to give in whatever capacity they feel led, but we thought it was helpful to provide a guide.
We are inviting one-time gifts or gifts spread out over 1-2 years.
For example, a $600 donation spread monthly over one year would be $50/month, over two years, $25/month

We hope to raise the necessary funds by Sunday, August 30.
