World Relief Refugee Resettlement

By donating funds, office space and staff time, Bellingham Covenant played an integral role in helping launch the World Relief Western Washington office, which is a Christian humanitarian organization that contracts with the federal government to resettle refugees around the country.

Formerly known as the Whatcom Refugee Resettlement Project, this organization officially became a new World Relief office (under the umbrella of World Relief Western Washington) in September 2021, and started receiving refugee arrivals in December 2021!

Volunteer Opportunities

Save the dates! BCC will again be partnering with World Relief to help the the children of refugees prepare for school in the U.S. This year we will be holding a School Readiness Week, full of learning and activities, on August 5-9. If you are interested in volunteering in this program, contact Pastor Adria or watch for details about a volunteer interest meeting in May.
