Giving

Giving to the mission and ministry of Bellingham Covenant Church is an intentional act of worship.  Our ethic of giving is built on a theology of receiving: God is the giver, we are the receivers.

Methods of financial giving

There are three main ways you can give:

  1. In-Person: We have a secure drop box at each entrance that you can place your tithe in when you come to worship.

  2. Through the Mail: You can write a check or use your bank’s Bill-pay service to send a check to 1530 E Bakerview Rd, Bellingham, WA, 98226.

  3. Online: You can donate electronically through our denominational giving portal (Use this link to the giving website, or click Give Now, below)

We receive 3 types of financial gifts

  1. Tithes – a fixed % of income given regularly

  2. Offerings – contributing to the mission and ministry of the church

  3. Designated Gifts – directed to a particular ministry or missions project

Anyone may contribute to Bellingham Covenant Church’s ministries.  Before you give we ask that, as an act of worship, you take a moment and pray.  Here is a convenient Prayer that you may find useful:

Life-giving God, you’ve been generous with me in so many ways...for that, I am grateful.  Please give me a clearer vision of my life as it appears in eternity.  Help me to embrace eternal priorities and not to be so bound by temporary pursuits.  Connect my heart through this financial gift, in a greater way, to your work in this world.  Amen.

“Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving. ”
