Youth Curriculum | Monthly Rhythm
1st, 2nd, 3rd Sundays of the Month (10:45-11:45)
Each week, our middle and high school students gather to reflect on the worship service and the sermon text from that morning. We’ve found that pausing right after the service to talk about what we experienced—both in Scripture and in worship—helps our students engage more deeply with the Bible, better understand why we worship the way we do, and grow in their faith.
We also make space for community—about 15 minutes each week to share food, drinks, games, activities and friendship together!
4th Sunday of the Month (10:45-11:45)
Donut Sunday & Ask Pastor Phil
Over the past couple of years, we’ve noticed something exciting—our students are asking really good questions about God, Jesus, the Bible, faith, and theology.
To honor those questions, we’ve invited Pastor Phil to join us once a month for a special Q&A. Here’s how it works:
Each month, students will write down the questions they’re wondering about or wrestling with.
The following month, Pastor Phil will respond to those questions…not with quick answers, but with thoughtful, biblical insight.
He’ll also invite one or two other voices into the conversation, so students hear a variety of perspectives.
These Sunday experiences aren’t about having all the answers—they’re about creating space where honest questions can be asked, and where we can together explore how faith speaks into everyday life.
5th Sunday of the Month
As part of our desire to be an intergenerational church, we regularly set aside time for Intergenerational Sunday!
On these Sundays, our worship service includes more student involvement than usual, giving the whole church family a chance to lead and learn together. During our Life Together Hour, we gather across all ages for activities that let us play, create, and grow in community.
It’s a day designed to remind us that we need each other—and that faith grows stronger when all generations come together.
