A Check-in team member welcomes families and children at the kiosk And gets the kids signed in for the day. They also help new families register their children and get a layout of the church building. We’re looking for people here who can welcome others and can be at church by 9:00 am
A helper is someone who really is the bookend of the kids' day. They welcome each child, one at a time, into the classroom and invites them to find a spot on the rug. This person supports the Storyteller and individual children who may need it throughout the morning. As the children are picked up by their parents, the helper has the parents sign the children out and then says goodbye to the child.
A storyteller is essentially the teacher for the morning. They learn the Bible story the week before to share, with their group, the following Sunday. They also are the timekeepers in the room, leading the kids through the transitions of the morning. We’re looking for folks with a heart to share God's word through storytelling and who have the willingness to facilitate a group of children.
