Next Steps

One Spirit Worship, May 24, 10:00 AM. Join with multiple area congregations at Cordata Presbyterian Church for a combined service. There will be worship music, Communion, the word proclaimed by Steven Shetterly, and a chance to participate in the wider body of Christ. The offering this year will go to support Renew Northwest. There will NOT be a worship service at BCC on May 24th.

Sunday, May 31 -- Inter-Generational Sunday

* During the worship service we will hear some stories from our church family and have extra time to respond to what God is doing among us. Children will stay in the service; nursery and pre-school care will also be available.

* We will hold a short congregational meeting after the service to vote on the proposed sanctuary expansion project. There are a few ways to find out more about the proposal and ask questions: visit our website, see the handouts on the Info Desks in the foyer, or talk with Annie Graham and Graham Meeks after the service on Sunday (in the sanctuary).

* After the meeting we will enjoy a picnic lunch on the back lawn. Bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and lawn games! Women's Ministries is providing our picnic lunch. (If it rains we will move into the multi-purpose room.)

BCC Art-Makers – Do you have a favorite piece of visual art that you made in the past that is part of your journey with God? Please consider sharing it with our church family for our next art wall installation in June! Submissions will be collected in the foyer this Sunday through Saturday, May 23. Please include a few words about why the artwork is important to you and/or how it connects to your relationship with God. Contact Susan Park at sallysuerae@gmail.com for more information.

BCC Gents Social night! All BCC men are invited to join us tonight, May 17, at 6:30 pm, at Larrabee Lager Company, 4151 Guide Meridian Rd #100, Bellingham. Contact Wesley Kriz, 541-614-6372, for more information.

Are you prepared for a natural disaster? Greg Hope, with the Bellingham Office of Emergency Management, will give a presentation on emergency preparedness on Monday, May 18, at 6 PM, in our multi-purpose room. The presentation is part of a King Mountain Neighborhood Association gathering, but we have been invited to attend. Contact Pastor Adria for more information.

Religion & State Forum — Join us in Classroom C, from 6:30-8 PM on Wednesday, May 20, to discuss the theme, "Different Paths: Persuasion, Coercion, Influence.” Contact Mark Olson for details at markolson48@gmail.com.

Ladies, you are invited to a fun night of houseplant bingo, food, and good company, all in support of two ministries that BCC supports: YWAM North Cascades and We Care of Whatcom County. The event takes place on June 18 at 6 PM at 1751 Front St, Lynden. Get your tickets at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/house-plant-bingo-night.
