Next Steps
New to BCC Class — If you are new to BCC in the last few months, we want to invite you to a class on Sunday mornings, Nov 2 through 30, during our Life Together hour (10:45-11:45 AM). This is a great opportunity to get to know others, learn about the vision, values, and theology of BCC, and discover some next steps you can take to get connected. Following the class, there will be an opportunity to become a member of the church if desired. This will be facilitated by Pastor Phil and will meet in Classroom C.
Vespers Service, Sunday, November 2, 6:00pm – Vespers is a contemplative evening worship service of scripture, singing, and prayer, in the style of Taizé.
Religion and State Forum
* Wednesday, November 5: Book Discussion - Money, Lies, and God by Katherine Stewart. Sessions are in Classroom C from 6:30-8 PM. Questions: contact Mark Olson, markolson48@gmail.com.
BCC 43rd Annual Holiday Bazaar is on Saturday, November 8, 9am-4pm. Volunteer sign-up continues this Sunday after the service. If you have questions, please contact Gladys Clancy, gladysbonnerclancy@comcast.net, or at church on Sunday.
* We are looking for plate donations. Please drop them off at the library on Sunday or at the church office during the week.
Surviving the Holidays — Whether it is your first holiday without a loved one or the tenth, we invite you to an event which will include practical suggestions and reassurance through video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death. We will be hosting two identical events: Thursday, November 13, 1:30-3:30 PM, and Sunday, December 7, 10:45 AM-12:45 PM. Please RSVP at https://rb.gy/0pa0y0. There is a $5 suggested donation to cover materials. Contact Pastor Adria if you have questions: adria@bellinghamcov.org.
What is YOUR favorite Christmas Carol? The Christmas Choir is singing "O HOLY NIGHT" on Sunday morning, December 21. If you are between the ages of 15 and 99 and like to sing, please join us for rehearsal on Thursday, December 4, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. in the Church Sanctuary. Our other rehearsals will be Sunday morning, December 7 and December 14, from 10:45 am - 11:45 am, also in the Church Sanctuary. If you are willing to sing, please contact Janis Duda at peteandjanduda@aol.com or 707-889-1938. Thank you for considering this opportunity to minister during the Christmas Season.
