Next Steps

BCC Life Together Classes, 10:45-11:45am

1. Covenant Foundations Jan 11 - Feb 15

Facilitators: Mark Olson, Pastor Adria — Classroom A

A deeper look at the biblical background and history of the Covenant’s six affirmations of faith and how the affirmations guide discipleship and community life. We will also look at several resource papers published by the ECC, which cover topics like divorce and remarriage, how we read the Bible, and the leadership of women in the church

2. Practicing the Way: Community — Jan 11 - Feb 1

Facilitator: Rachel Gulleson — Classroom C

By adopting not just the teaching but the practices from Jesus’ own life, we open up our entire being to God and allow him to transform us into people of love. This class will consist of video teachings and discussion, as well as practical steps for growing in community during the rest of the week.

It's a Baby Shower! – All BCC ladies are invited to come to a shower for Charity Garza-Forhan as she and her husband, Andrew, prepare to welcome their baby girl next month! Meet us in Cafe Fika on Saturday, January 31st, from 10-11:30am, for a time to shower this growing family with prayer and love. Charity and Andrew are registered at babylist.com. Let Megan Mattix know if you have any questions: justinandmeganmattix@gmail.com

Starting Spring cleaning? – The Women’s Ministry would love your gently used, nice-quality items for our church garage sale. The garage sale blesses many different ministries as well as the community! Drop-off begins April 19 at our drive-up donation event. Please note: we’re unable to store items before this date.

Service Opportunity:  Women's Ministry is seeking an event coordinator for our annual Holiday Bazaar. This is a fun and rewarding leadership role where one works with our church staff, members, and outside vendors for a great, hospitality-centered event. Even though the event is in the fall, the planning starts in the spring. For the first year, the coordinator would work side-by-side with experienced members. Please prayerfully consider this ministry. For details or discussion, contact Gladys (gladysbonnerclancy@comcast.net).

Save the Dates:

* March 13-14: Marriage Retreat, Lake Samish Day Lodge

* April 24-25: Shop for a Cause Garage Sale

* June 26-28: All-Church Campout, Bryce Creek Campground
