Financial Update

Thank you for your ongoing generosity and support of the mission and ministry of BCC!  Because of your generous response we have started to close the gap on our deficit we had earlier in the year. At the end of November our year to date income has been $597,413 and our expenses have been $612,201 leaving a slight deficit of -$14,788. We are spending under our year to date budget of $640,032. If you are hoping to make a year end gift to BCC please postmark it before December 31. Thanks again for your support!

Next Steps

Holiday office/building closure – The church office will be closed from Thursday, December 25, through Thursday, January 1. If an emergency arises during this time, please contact Pastor Phil or Pastor Adria. We wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

Vespers Service, Sunday, January 4, 7:00pm –  Join us in the sanctuary for this contemplative evening worship service of scripture, singing, and prayer, in the style of Taizé.

Start the New Year with prayer — Join us for a week of prayer as we reflect on the theme, “One Another,” using the Covenant’s 7-day devotional. Start on Jan 1 or Sunday, Jan 4, whichever is easier for you. Hard copies of the devotionals are available on the kiosks, or you can find digital copies here: https://covchurch.org/prayer/.

Connect with other small group leaders — If you are a small group facilitator or leader, have been one in the past, or are open to being one in the future, you are invited to a gathering on Sunday, January 4, at 10:45 AM in Classroom C. We will spend time learning from and praying for one another. For more information, contact Pastor Adria at adria@bellinghamcov.org.

Women’s Cancer Support Group — If you are facing cancer or have endured cancer in the last few years, you are invited to join a monthly support group with other women. Contact Kathy Sellereit for more information at kathyrn.sellereit@gmail.com or 360-303-5573.

Sankofa 2026 — The ECC is again offering a Sankofa trip: an immersive discipleship experience equipping believers to understand biblical justice, pursue racial righteousness, and participate in the reconciling work of Christ as repairers of the breach. You are invited to join them on the bus for their next trip, February 19-22, 2026. Learn more at https://covchurch.regfox.com/sankofa-spring-2026.
