Today’s Preacher:

Welcome and thank you for joining us today! Guests, we invite you to fill out the Connection Card found in the pews and place it in the offering boxes in the foyer (or fill it out here). We would like to know you were here!

  • Our Baby Room is available in the back of the sanctuary for families with babies.

  • The Nursery is open for kids 2 years old and under; it is located between the Library and Café Fika.

  • If you would like to connect with a small group or to serve God with us, you can find information on the Info Desks in the foyer or visit https://www.bellinghamcov.org/adults.

  • We livestream our services: Prefer not to be on camera? Sit in the far right section of the sanctuary.

Hearing devices and printed lyrics for those who might need them are located at the tech booth.

Tithes & Offerings: You can place your financial gifts in one of the offering boxes outside each of the sanctuary doors as you leave, mail checks to the church (1530 E. Bakerview Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226), or give online at bellinghamcov.org/giving.

Next Steps

Making Room Sanctuary Expansion Update: The work to expand our sanctuary to make room for new attendees is well underway. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Making Room Campaign. While we have met our initial goal of $225,000, we will continue to accept gifts to the Making Room Campaign through August 30. Any funds not needed for the sanctuary expansion will be used for the future needs of our building and grounds.

BCC Summer Park Play Dates

  • Families are invited to join us on August 13th for a park play date at Cordata Park from 10:00-12:00. Splash park opens at 11. Contact Melissa Mueller if you have any questions: Melissa@bellinghamcov.org or 785-512-0654.

Attention musicians and singers! Join us after church in the sanctuary TODAY or on August 23 to play and sing together at our Summer Jam Sessions. This is an opportunity for anyone to come with voice or instruments and play with the band. Practice your band skills if you’re wanting to join the regular worship team but don’t feel quite ready, or simply come to sing or play with others for the joy of it in a no-pressure situation. Contact Adriele if you have questions.

Prime Timers Potluck, Thursday, August 13, 12:30 pm –  Come enjoy our retired-age friends for good food, great conversation, and warm fellowship with a potluck lunch in the BCC dining room. We'd love to have you join us! Contact Jim Bruns with any questions at (360) 393-1403.

We are planning our 3rd annual Arts Night for Sunday, September 13! If you are an artist, musician, or writer, consider crafting a response to Philippians this summer. Perhaps there is an image or concept that has captured your attention after reading the letter or hearing the sermons? Toward the end of August, we will begin collecting submissions of art, poetry, essays, stories, and songs related to the letter of Philippians or how God has been at work in you lately.
