4th and 5th Grade Director
Homeschooled 1st-11th, Running start at Shoreline Community College 12thand about to start my first year at Western Washington University!
I grew up in Seattle and am the youngest of 5 kids. I have 3 older sisters and one older brother. Growing up in a homeschooled family we did everything together, which meant lots of time to wrestle with my brother or chase my sisters around the house. My family has become my biggest supporters and I feel very fortunate for that. As I got older I turned my energy onto sports and theater. In high school, my faith and youth group slowly became my priority, as I dived into every mission trip opportunity and leadership positions they had. My family has been a huge influence on where I am today. My mom and two of my siblings are teachers, which is a huge factor in how I found my passion and love for youth ministry so early on in my life. I have done ministry work in Tijuana, Mexico worked in Special Needs classrooms and helped lead a week-long retreat for families with a terminally ill children. All of the different experiences like those have led and readied me for the place I am today.
I really love to play and watch all sports but especially football! I enjoy long boarding around town with friends, playing Jazz with my trombone and listening/ discovering new music whenever I can!
Oh man what a tough question! I would have to go with Alt-J, All Sons & Daughters, Local Natives, and embarrassingly but true One Direction!
Inside Out, How to Train Your Dragon, and Oceans 11
Parks and Rec, The Office, Daredevil and Band Of Brothers
The Reason for God, No Country for Old Men, and The Outcasts.
FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
Well my top one easily would have to be annoying my sisters but a close second is either playing baseball with my dad and brother or camping on Orcas Island with my family.
I’D LIKE TO MEET
Russell Wilson, Derek Jeter and or Jimmy Fallon.
