WOMEN MINISTRIES

VISION

The purpose of Women Ministries at Bellingham Covenant is to provide ways for women to connect with one another, to grow in friendships and faith, to serve, and to reach out to the world around us in a variety of ways.  And we have fun doing it!  Here's just a few of the things we do together:

GARAGE SALE

This is an all-church event held in March or April.  Donations are accepted throughout the year and all proceeds go to provide service and help to individuals and various agencies and projects.  Many volunteers are needed and it provides a great way of connecting with others in the planning, preparation and completion of the sale.  And, it is a lot of fun!

Contact Cindy Vosburgh for more information.

WOMEN’S RETREAT

Each fall the North Pacific Conference sponsors a Retreat for the women of the Conference which is held at Cascades Camp located near Yelm, WA.  It is a wonderful opportunity to worship, learn, connect, have fun together.  More information coming in May and watch for “early bird” signups in the summer.  Our Women’s Ministry at BCC provides partial payment of the Retreat fees for those attending from our church.

Contact Lisa Fenwick or Karen Nielsen for more information

HOLIDAY BAZAAR

This community event is held on the second Saturday of November and features artists and crafters from both the community and from BCC.  Many volunteers (both men and women) are needed for this special one-day event.  This is an excellent opportunity to open our hearts and doors to welcome our friends, neighbors and community in the name of Christ.

Contact Aleen Warren, Beth Kurtz or Gladys Clancy for more information.

EVENING IN DECEMBER

Come and enjoy a Christmas celebration and reflection time on the second Tuesday evening in December.  This is a wonderful opportunity to have some delicious dessert, peruse the famous jewelry auction, sing Christmas carols together and consider the wonder of the coming of the Christ Child with story and song.

Contact Kerri Holferty for more information.

Art Wall Ministry Team

VISION

We strive to enrich the worship and fellowship life of Bellingham Covenant Church through creative and artistic expressions of faith.

We invite creatives to participate by submitting their own work for the changing displays throughout the year.  The team welcomes your suggestions, inquiries and interest and encourages you to take the initiative to become involved.

Contact Joy Soltis for more information.
